UAGS needs a Treasurer, could you be that person?
Required to attend monthly UAGS Committee of Management Meetings you will be responsible for recording all financial transactions during the year. Experience in the preparation of spreadsheets is essential to record monthly and annual income and expenditure as well as liaising with the Accountant to prepare the Annual Statement.
You will coordinate the rent collection for all 8 allotments and garages, paying all necessary bills, expenses honoraria and other payments.
Among your other duties you will be required to arrange Insurance for all the sites, garages, trophies etc. as well as build relationships with ground Secretaries and/or Treasurers for the collection of rents through the year.
An honoraria payment is available for the successful applicant subject to meeting the criteria set out in the Job Description see attached.
